Sjonni's Friends

Called Sjonni 's Friends also Sigurjón 's Friends, is an Icelandic band, and participants at the Euro Vision Song Contest 2011.

On 12 February 2011, the group won the national preselection home with the title Aftur. Actually, the singer Sigurjón " Sjonni " Brink should sing this self-composed piece in the preliminary round. Unexpectedly, however, died this January 17, 2011 in his hometown Gardabær. He was only 36 years old and left a wife and four children. His family now decided to get his song by the newly formed band competition.

In Dusseldorf, the group presented an English version titled Coming Home ( German: ' homecoming ') and occurred on May 10, 2011, in the first semifinal. Sigurjón 's Friends succeeded in moving into the four days later held the final, where they finished 20th place with 61 points.
