Skaelskoer is a city in Slagelse municipality on the Danish Baltic Sea island of Zealand. On January 1, 2013, the city counted 6418 inhabitants. The city is located in the Region Sjælland, and was the administrative seat of the homonymous municipality Skaelskoer. This has been integrated within the framework of municipal reform on 1 January 2007 with the "old " Slagelse municipality, the municipalities Hashøj and Korsør in the new Slagelse municipality.

In addition, there is the largest brewery in Denmark Skaelskoer, Harboes Bryggeri.
