Skandinavisk Aero Industri

The Skandinavisk Aero Industri A / S ( SAI) was a Danish manufacturer of aircraft. The company existed from 1937 until 1954. 's Headquarters was initially located in Kastrup. Owners were the engineer Karl Gustav Zeuthen and the designer Viggo Kramme. Production began with the SAI KZ -1. The further development was hindered by the Second World War. In 1947 the young company was hit hard by fire on the premises, in which 22 already ready for delivery SAI KZ -7 fell victim to the flames.

The aircraft reached this manufacturer at least in Denmark a certain distribution. Approximately 200 pieces of all types were produced. A collection of all SAI models located in Dansk Veteranflysamling in Skjern, Denmark.
