Skate America
Skate America is an international figure skating competition, which forms part of the Grand Prix series. It is organized by the USFSA, the U.S. Figure Skating Association and is held every year in the fall at a different location in the USA. The skaters come to the disciplines individual running the Men's Singles Run the ladies, pair skating and ice dancing against each other.
The first Skate America ( officially called " Norton skate " ) was held in 1979 in Lake Placid, New York. With the introduction of the Grand Prix series, it was 1995, a part of this.
