Skautafélag Akureyrar

Skautafélag Akureyrar is established in 1937 Icelandic ice sports club based in Akureyri, which is known for its hockey division, which plays in the Icelandic Hockey League.

History

Skautafélag Akureyrar has been increasing since the 1991/92 season through part of the game operation of the Icelandic Hockey League. With 16 titles, the team 's record champion.

2010 decided the club's future to have two teams participating in the game operating the highest league, the first team has performed since then as Vikingar, the second team as jötnar. The Vikingar won the 2013 total of 16 championship title in club history.
