The Skënderbeu Stadium (Albanian Stadiumi Skënderbeu ) is a multi-purpose stadium in the Albanian town of Korce.

It has a capacity of 12,000 spectators. The stadium is the home of KF Skënderbeu Korçë.

History

An original building was built in 1957 with stones of the Holy Evangelist Church Gjergj. Was named the stadium after club KF Skënderbeu Korçë. The stadium was renovated several times. Recently it has been thoroughly overhauled in 2011 by its current President Agim Zeqo and other sponsors and is now one of the most modern stadiums in the country.

The first international match in this stadium took place on November 15, 2011. The first international game for the KF Skënderbeu Korçë was on 13 July 2011, the match against the champions from Cyprus, APOEL Nicosia ( 0:2 ). Chance of international games but were held in Tirana, so on August 6, 2013 against Shakhtar Karaganda.
