Skerdilaid Curri

Skerdilaid " Skerdi " Curri [ ʦuri ] ( born October 6, 1975 in Kavaja ) is an Albanian football player and coach. Since 2003 he has worked at FC Erzgebirge Aue - until 2012 as a player of the first team since the 2012/13 season until the end of April 2013 as player-coach of the second team.

Career

Curri began his career with KS Besa Kavaja in his hometown. In 1995 he moved to the capital club Partizani Tirana, with whom he won the 1997 Albanian Cup.

In January 1998, Curri Tirana left and moved to Germany for SpVgg Unterhaching, but where he came only to a league use in the subsequent second round. He then moved to the division FC Bayern Starnberg, in which he played the 1998/99 season.

From 1999 to 2003 he played in the East German Oberliga VFC Plauen. Since 2003 he is with FC Erzgebirge Aue under contract in which he has been denied over 200 league games. In the second division season 2004/ 05 he suffered in the game against Wacker Burghausen to a kick of his opponent Hrvoje Vukovic a lung plan and hovered momentarily in danger.

2008 Curri rose with Aue from the 3rd league. He remained loyal to the club and made two years later the revival. 2011/12 he came only sporadically as a "wild card " for use, but on the final day scored the decisive goal that secured the league.

For the season 2012/13 Curri began work as a player-coach of the second team of FC Erzgebirge Aue. On April 27, 2013, was dismissed as coach of the second team. Nevertheless, he remains the team continue to receive as a player.

Private

Curri is married and has two children, a daughter and a son. In June 2012, he opened in Schwarzenberg / Erzgeb. an Albanian restaurant.
