Skjern Municipality

Skjern Commune was until December 2006 a Danish municipality in the former Ringkjøbing Office in Jutland. Since January 2007, it was merged with the municipalities Holm country Ringkøbing, Videbæk and Egvad to Ringkøbing -Skjern municipality.

Skjern municipality was created in the course of administrative reform of 1970 and included the following Sogn:

• Skjern Sogn
• Fjelstervang Sogn
• Stauning Sogn
• Sædding Sogn
• Sønder Borris Sogn
