Skole Raion
The Skole district (Ukrainian Сколівський район / Skoliwskyj raion; Russian Сколевский район / Skolewski rayon ) is a raion in Lviv Oblast in western Ukraine. Center of the Rajons is the city which is under Rajonsverwaltung Skole. Covering an area of 1,471 km ² live 50 310 inhabitants (as of 1 December 2001), Rajon bordered to the north by the Rajon Drohobytsch, in the northeast on the Rajon Stry, to the east by Rajon Dolyna ( in the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast ), to the south by Rajon Mischhirja and Rajon Volovets ( in the Transcarpathian Oblast ) and to the west by the Turka Raion.
