Skream

Skream ( born June 1, 1986 in Bromley, London, real name Oliver Jones ) is a dubstep producer from Croydon, London. Considered alongside Benga and Hatcha as one of the pioneers of the genre.

Life

As a teenager, he produced his first tracks on a Playstation, but rose soon on Fruity Loops to.

He worked in the Big Apple record store in Croydon, which is regarded as a key point for the development of dubstep. There, worked or met many of today's dubstep DJs and producers. There was Skream his songs to DJ Hatcha on, which they played at several parties and Skream so helped to prominence. The breakthrough came in 2005 with his song Skream Midnight Request Line.

In 2006, his album Skream! Posted at Tempa. Then Skream went on foreign tours and helped Dubstep thus increasing notoriety. In April 2007, Skream put in several cities in Germany on, inter alia, in Berlin, Leipzig and Offenbach am Main.

To have produced a very high selection of unpublished tracks over the years, Skream, who also it was known, has released his second album Outside The Box released in 2010 on Tempa. Shortly before he reached through the launched together with Benga and Artwork Magnetic Man project with the single I Need Air for the first time a top 10 chart position in the UK.

In addition to his official releases Skream regularly publishes free tracks as a free download on the Internet. Three parts of the " Freeizm " series has been published Skream on his Twitter account, recent, comprehensive eight tracks part in July 2010. Meanwhile Skream is at the record label Owsla under contract.
