Skua (rocket)

Skua is the name of a British sounding rocket, which was launched in 1959-1981 in four versions about 300 times. The Skua was developed by Bristol Aerojet and RPE Wescott. It consisted of one of several existing rockets of the type chick starting stage, which burned for 0.2 seconds and the rocket carried 20 meters above the 5 -meter-long launch tube. Only then lit the actual main stage of type Bantam.
