SKY Perfect JSAT Group

The K. K. SKY Perfect JSAT Holdings (Japanese JSAT株式会社 スカパーホールディングス, Kabushiki - gaisha sukapā jeisatto hōrudingusu, Eng. SKY Perfect JSAT Holdings Inc. ) is a Japanese holding company headquartered in Minato, Tokyo Prefecture. It was founded in April 2007 by transfer of shares from the SKY Perfect Communications Inc. and the JSAT Corporation. As the only private operator of communications satellites in Japan and the biggest in Asia, it covers a total of 14 satellites Japan, Asia, Oceania and North America.

History

On 2 April 2007 the establishment of the holding company through transfer of shares of the subsidiary SKY Perfect Communications Inc. and the JSAT Corporation SKY Perfect JSAT Corporation as was done. A year later the Space Communication Corporation subsidiaries. June 2008, the AG changed its name to its present name.

On 1 October 2008, SKY Perfect Communications Inc., JSAT Corporation and Space Communication Corporation merged to SKY Perfect JSAT Corporation.
