The Skyflash was an air - to-air missile from the 1980s, which was developed by British Aerospace for the Royal Air Force.
The Skyflash was all weathers, and could be used against fast low-flying aircraft. It was developed from the U.S. AIM -7C, but was less susceptible to interference and faster and had a greater range. The Skyflash was replaced by the AIM -120 AMRAAM.
