Slatine

Slatine is a small village on the island of Ciovo in Croatia. The place is located about 7 kilometers from Trogir. Slatine has about 1,200 inhabitants, but most residents have in Slatine just a weekend house and usually stay there only in summer. The inhabitants live mainly from fishing and tourism. The place is connected to a bus to Trogir. In summer, a ship with Split is available. The place belongs to the municipality of Split.

Worth seeing is the Sanctuary Prizidnica on the south side of the island Ciovo. It is located just 4 kilometers from Slatine and was built directly into the rock of the island with several priests.
