Slava Polunin
Vyacheslav Ivanovich " Slava " Polunin ( Russian: Вячеслав Иванович ( Слава ) Полунин; born June 12, 1950 in Nowosil, Oryol Oblast, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union, now Russia ) is a Russian Clown visionary. He became known for shows like " Asisyai revue ", " Diabolo" and especially " Slava 's Snowshow " international reputation and the reputation of being the world's best clown.
Biography
Vyacheslav Polunin had an engineering degree in Leningrad started before he later earned a degree in the Leningrad Institute of Soviet culture. In 1979, Polunin a clown school. His first appearance on television, which took place on New Year program in 1981, made him a national celebrity. In 1985, he convened a clown conference in Moscow. Polunin 1987 organized a festival of street theater in the USSR.
Another highlight in Slava's career was organizing a Peace Caravan in 1989. Artists from all over the world traveled from Moscow to Paris by many European cities to make street performances. To raise money for he founded Academy of Fools, Polunin some commercial shows decided to make in the West: the best-known was Slava 's Snow Show. Since the premiere in Russia in 1993, the show was shown in 50 countries. In 1994, the then director of Cirque du Soleil, Gilles Ste -Croix saw the show, and invited a Slava then, parts of the show in the Cirque du Soleil show: to integrate " Alegría ", which was done in 1995.
