Slavko Petrović

Slavko Petrović ( born August 10, 1958 in Belgrade ) is a former Yugoslav football goalkeeper and active soccer coach.

A native of the former Yugoslavia, Petrović was during his active football career seven times in goal for the national team of his native country and has been with Red Star Belgrade ( 1972-1979 ) twice Yugoslav champion and cup winner. After the lost the UEFA Cup final in 1979 against Borussia Mönchengladbach he left Belgrade and moved to Fortuna Dusseldorf ( 1979/1980 ) to Germany. About the other stations Rot-Weiss Essen (1980/1981), Wormatia Worms (1981/1982), Olympic Lampert home (1982-1987) and TSV Amicitia Four Home (1987-1990) he ended his active career.

At the beginning of his now following coaching career, he supervised the FC Alemannia wholesale Rohrsheim (1992-1996) and Amicitia Four Home (1996-1997), before he took as an assistant coach at Karlsruher SC (1997/1998) in professional football foot. His first höherklassigen head coach - a post he took over in 1998 at SV Darmstadt 98 in the Oberliga Hessen. Here he succeeded in winning the championship and thus the re-emergence of the " lily " in the Regionalliga Süd. After his release in October 1999, Petrović took over a month later as coach at the former Northeast regional league team FC Carl Zeiss Jena. He achieved a 4th place in the 1999/2000 season, but was released in May 2001, when the descent of Carl Zeiss Jena was certain. Engagements as a trainer at Fortuna Dusseldorf ( 7/2002-5/2003 ) and the SV Waldhof Mannheim ( 1/2005-12/2005 ). In the 2007 /08 season was Slavko Petrović coach of the Hungarian first division Zalaegerszegi TE FC. From the 2011/2012 season he coached the Serbian traditional club FK Rad.
