Sledd of Essex

Sledda (also Sledda Æscvvining ) ( † about 604) was of about 587 to 604 probably before King of the Anglo-Saxon Kingdom of Essex. Sledda was the son Æscwines. Whether he was actually king is unsecured.

He was married to Ricola, a daughter of King Eormenric of Kent and had two sons: Sæberht, who became his successor and Seaxa after his death.
