Sling Table

The loop table is used in physiotherapy as a treatment tool to treat the affected, painful or immobile limbs.

The structural design consists of a about two meters high, just as long and one meter wide, sturdy steel frame, which has the appearance of an oversized table. Special versions can also be reversed mounted hanging from the ceiling. In this context is usually a wire mesh welded. Ropes or cords with attached " loops " (more precisely, open loops, wide straps, belts, cuffs, etc.) in the grid, as well as simple hoists, or individual roles variable hooked with snap hook, knotted or otherwise secured. The technical term for this is called " loop cutlery". The patient lies on a couch underneath and can be pulled up as on the affected body parts or completely. However, the individual applications are dependent on the diagnosis and the therapeutic objective.

The loop table is thus for certain orthopedic diagnoses an indispensable part of the physiotherapy treatment.
