Slingback

A slingback or slingbacks, colloquially Riemchenpumps is a widely excised shoe, the shank passes in the area of the hindfoot in a narrow belt, resulting in an open heel. Slingbacks have a flat sole and a mode shape caused varying higher sales. The belt, which extends above the heel may additionally include a closure, such as have a buckle.

Slingbacks never have a clip or a belt that wraps the ankle. Pumps, however, are always closed back and have no closure.
