Slobodan Topalović

Slobodan Topalović ( born November 8, 1952 in Čačak, † May 1994, Belgrade ) was a Serbian football player.

Topalović played in the 70s in the Bundesliga for the first FC Cologne. As a second goalkeeper Harald Schumacher behind him came 17 times to insert until he incurred a severe head injury in the Bundesliga match against Eintracht Frankfurt. In 1977 he moved to local rivals SC Viktoria Köln, with whom he played in the season 1978/1979 in the 2nd Bundesliga. There, too, he could not prevail in the long run as the number one itself. In 1979 he went for two years in his native Yugoslavia before moving in 1981 to Olympique Lyon in France. For this club, he graduated to 1987 225 games in the second division. Slobodan Topalović collided with a old men's game in France with an opponent, and died in 1994 his skull injuries after a long illness.
