Slovak Technical Museum

The Slovak Technical Museum (Slovak Slovenské technické múzeum, abbreviation STM ) is a Technical Museum, headquartered in the eastern Slovak city of Kosice and other branches in Slovakia. It documents the development of science and technology on the territory of Slovakia and Slovak Contributions in the world. The museum was founded in 1947 and a year later made ​​available to the public, at that time under the name Technické múzeum. In 1983 it received the current name.
