SLS Las Vegas
The SLS Las Vegas is currently under renovation befindliches hotel and casino on the Las Vegas Strip in Las Vegas, Nevada. As Sahara Hotel and Casino had 1720 rooms and an approximately 7900 square foot casino. It is the northernmost stop of the Las Vegas Monorail. Currently the building is being renovated and rebuilt for $ 415 million, in the fall of 2014 to be re-opened.
The hotel was built in 1952 by Milton Prell, the sixth hotel on the strip. 1954 Louis Prima was recruited as a show act, it was one of the first shows on the Strip. 1961 Del Webb bought the hotel. Later, in 1995, Bill Bennett bought the hotel. He remained until his death on 22 December 2002 owners. 2000 a roller coaster named " Speed - The Ride " was opened, which was located outside the hotel.
In January and February 1960 several scenes for the film Frankie and his cronies were (Ocean 's Eleven ) is rotated with the Rat Pack in the Sahara.
