Sly Stone

Sylvester Stewart, called Sly Stone ( born March 15, 1943 in Dallas, Texas) is an American radio singer and band leader of the band Sly & the Family Stone, which was founded in 1967.

Sly Stone is one next to James Brown of the founders of the radio and the Psychedelic music in the 1960s. He processed his band influences from rock, soul, pop and jazz. His band was known for an appearance at the Woodstock Festival, and was not without influence on the hippie generation, but lost the mid-1970s her audience and broke up.
