The Small Carpathian Museum (Slovak Malokarpatské múzeum ) in Pezinok in western Slovakia is a regional museum with a focus on Winzereiwesen, Wine and the Small Carpathian wine region.

History

The museum was reopened reconstruction work on 18 November 2008 after two years. With the help of funding from the EU funds and the museum founder, the Bratislavský kraj, the museum building and the basement of the museum was reconstructed.

The museum presents an exhibition of the basement - by its own account - the largest collection of winemaker presses in Central Europe, occasional exhibitions, a workshop for schools, and the possibility of tasting of Carpathian wines.

The museum also occasionally exhibitions abroad, such as the exhibition " vineyards, wine, people," which was presented in September 2005 at the European Parliament in Strasbourg and later in Vienna and in Milotice in the Czech Republic.
