Smáratorg Tower

The Smáratorg Tower ( Smáratorg 3) is an office and retail tower in Kópavogur ( Iceland ) and the fifth- tallest structure in Iceland. With a height of 77.6 meters, the tower exceeds the 74.5 m high Hallgrímskirkja, making it the tallest building in Iceland.

Planned by the architectural firm ARKIS tower, which is located in the largest shopping mall in Iceland Smáralind, comprises 20 stories. The office space comprises approximately 14,400 m², Plot of land 6,000 m². The cost of the building were in 2006 at around 2.3175 billion Icelandic crowns (about 30.8 million euros ).

The tower was inaugurated on 11 February 2008.
