Reception

" More serious than the competition, but still produces vibrant and loaded with singers who are blessed with both vocal talent and charm, make the series pilot for Smash to a remarkable whole for Serienjunkies with a preference for the rags- to-riches stories. There is still some room for improvement, but the start is already plenty of promising. "
