Smoosh

Smoosh is an American indie pop band from Seattle. It was founded in 2000 by the sisters Asya ( born February 2, 1992) and Chloe ( born March 5, 1994). In 2007, the third sister Maia joined (born 5 September 1996) the band at.

Band History

In 2000 met Asya and Chloe accidentally Jason McGerr, the drummer later by Death Cab for Cutie, in a music store where they actually wanted to buy a violin. They left the store with a new drum set for Chloe and the business card of McGerr, who taught at the time at a music school.

In the same year published Smoosh with Tomato Mistakes their first single, the only two songs Free to Stay and But Now I Know contained and they sent free to anyone who was interested in it.

Four years later, in September 2004, they released their first album, She Like Electric.

The second album Free to Stay, which was published in 2006, contained, with Find A Way the piece with the on Jimmy Kimmel Live it! for the first time on television occurred.
