Snapcase

Snapcase was founded in 1991, American hardcore punk band from Buffalo.

Style

Snapcase went through a similar musical development as Refused: As a band that had its roots in hardcore, she expanded her range. Critics recognized at their last regular album End Transmission influences of tool or even At the Drive - In. The latter called the band itself, in addition to Refused, Quicksand, Fugazi and the Deftones, as role models and influence.

The members of Snapcase belonged to the straight-edge scene, unlike similar bands but hardly influenced this their texts because they do not " preach " wanted. Social criticism and revolutionary ideas were, however, to the dominant themes of the group.
