Sneferukhaf

Snofruchaef (after reading other Chaefsnofru ) was a prince of the ancient Egyptian 4th Dynasty. He was a son of the vizier Nefermaat and thus a great-grandson of Pharaoh Sneferu. Reliefs from his grave show two sons, whose names are unknown, however.

His grave

Snofruchaef part of the mastaba G 7070 on the Eastern Cemetery of the Pyramid of Cheops. It included an unmarked sarcophagus, which today is located in Cairo 's Egyptian Museum. The victims of grave chapel facility contains, among other reliefs also a genealogical inscription Snofruchaef behind his royal grandfather Sneferu, his grandmother and his father Neferetkau Nefermaat enqueues. Kurt Sethe, came to the erroneous assumption, Sneferu had fathered a son with his own daughter because of this inscription. Recent discoveries of George Andrew Reisner, however, have this theory refuted.
