Sniffin' Glue

Sniffin ' Glue was a British punk fanzine. It appeared monthly from July 1976 to September 1977.

Editor Mark Perry refused the name of the Ramones song Now I Wanna Sniff Some Glue. The first issue had a print run of about 50 pieces, later brought it to 15,000. A drawing of a three-chord sequence with the text " this is a chord, this is another, this is a third. Now form a band " ( This is a chord. This is another one. This is a third party. Founds Do band. ) is often attributed to Sniffin ' Glue, but originally appeared in the fanzine Sideburns.

Perry finished the book, when he had the feeling that Punk would be part of the mainstream music press. In recent issues, he encouraged his readers for this, even to found fanzines, what did in the next few years hundreds of punks. The last issue included a flexi- disc from Perry's own band Alternative TV. Among the better-known artists was the future radio commentator and comedian Danny Baker.

In 2000, Perry published the book Sniffin ' Glue: The Essential Punk Accessory in which all the old issues and new lyrics by Perry, are located.
