Sniper (group)

Sniper is a French hip hop group from Paris. She found herself back in 1997 together in Francofolies de La Rochelle. It consists of rappers Tunisiano, Aketo and Black Renega. DJ of the group is DJ Boudj.

The group is very well known in France, however, disputed by their sometimes aggressive lyrics. 2004 was raised by the then French Interior Minister Nicolas Sarkozy charges against the group. Sniper had sung in the song " La France " from the fact that they were hot "eradicate Minister and fascists ". Sarkozy therefore raised on behalf of his Ministry in April 2004 in Rouen lawsuit against Sniper because of the glorification of violence and call for officials murder. The members of the group threatened to five years' imprisonment and 45,000 euros fine. On August 25, 2006, acquitted the group in Rouen in the second instance the Court of Appeal. The album "You rire aux larmes ", on which the lines in question were to be heard, has now sold over 250,000 copies.
