Snorricam

SnorriCam (also chestcam, body mount camera, bodycam or body mount ) is a camera setting in which the camera is filming an actor head and does not move in relation to it. This is usually achieved by turning the camera to tie the actor directly to the stomach. An example of ongoing actor seems to be in this setting, not to move, but his environment seems to flow around it. This effect represents dizziness and disorientation of the protagonist and calls forth these feelings in the viewer.

History

The SnorriCam was after two Icelandic photographer Einar Snorri and Eidur Snorri, named.

Use in films

The SnorriCam came in many well-known films of the recent Hollywood history is used, among other things: Seconds ( 1966), Raging Bull (1980 ), The Truman Show (1998 ), Requiem for a Dream (2000), Slumdog Millionaire (2008) and District 9 ( 2009).
