Snow coach#A modern example: the Terra Bus

Terra Bus is an all-terrain, all-wheel drive, three-axle off-road bus, which has been specially designed for use in arctic climates from Canada's Foremost manufacturer of special vehicles.

The Terra Bus was developed and manufactured by Foremost Industries Inc.. The four-wheel drive vehicle (6 × 6) can carry up to 56 passengers. The vehicle is equipped with six large low-pressure tire (30 psi). The Terra Bus is used, among other Antarkisforschungsstation of McMurdo Station, as well as a tourist named Snow coach in the Columbia Icefield in Banff and Jasper National Park.
