Snyder 's of Hanover is an American pretzel and potato chip manufacturer based in Hanover, Pennsylvania.

History

The company was founded by Harry V. Warehime as Hanover Pretzel Company in 1909. Warehime presented with the Hanover Olde Tyme Pretzel ago only one kind of pretzels. 1923 was opened by Mr. and Mrs. William and Helen Snyder 's first work. Their sons Edward and Bill were responsible for the introduction to the potato chip production. In 1948 we opened a second plant in Berlin (Pennsylvania).

In 1963 the company was acquired by Hanover Brands. Under the name of Hanover Foods product range among others some cake was extended. By 1977, however, one whose production ceased again and focused on pretzels and potato chips. In 1981, Snyder 's of Hanover became independent from Hanover Foods.
