So What is a rock-pop song by the American singer P! Nk from the year 2008. The song was written by P! Nk, Max Martin and Shellback.
Genesis
Pink described the genesis of the song in an interview with Canadian journalist Jason MacNeil. In cooperation with the Swedish music producer Max Martin and Shellback (Karl Johan Schuster ) in the Maratone Studios in Stockholm, in which the song was also recorded, was the first song the introductory guitar riff. Pink, who had separated from her husband, motorcross racer Carey Hart in early 2008, wrote the lyrics to the beginning of the first verse of " I guess I just lost my husband, I do not know where he went. " ( I think I have just finished my lost husband, I do not know where he went ). The affected reaction by Martin and Shellback aroused their interest. The formulated as a question title So What what can be translated with Na. Pink described the song as a joke ( "joke "). The video begins in a tattoo shop. Pink shows a tattoo on her arm. In the next frequency is seen Pink tipsy with a lawnmower in the public transport ride. After that Pink is in a shop where guitars are sold, of which they destroyed one and the seller attacked. Following this, one sees the singer with a chainsaw to saw off a tree with the inscription Alecia Carey.
