Socata TB 30 Epsilon

The Socata TB 30 " Epsilon " is a training aircraft of the French company Socata, then part of Aérospatiale, which emerged from the Socata TB 10.

It was created on the basis of a claim of the French Air Force Armée de l'air, which was looking for a basic trainer that could be used after basic training, but before the Jettraining.

Its tasks are pilot selection, basic training, instrument flight and navigation training, formation flying and aerobatics training. It is designed for a load factor of 7 / -3.5 g. The tandem cockpit easier due to its interpretation of the transition to jet aircraft.

The prototype had its maiden flight on December 22, 1980.
