Social Democratic Party (Moldova)

The Partidul Social Democrat ( PSD Abbr; German Social Democratic Party ) is a social democratic party in Moldova.

The Social Democratic Party was still in the Moldavian SSR on May 13, founded in 1990 as a Social Democrat din Moldova Partidul ( Social Democratic Party of Moldova ). In national elections, she was unsuccessful until today and was able to necessary to enter parliament vote share of 6% ( restrictive clause ) do not reach so far. In December 2007, it merged with the Partidul Democratiei Sociale (Party of Social Democracy ) of former Prime Minister Dumitru Braghis. ( Centre Union of Moldova UCM) the Social Democrats During this time, numerous former members of the Uniunea centrista joined din Moldova. At the municipal level, the PSD worked in subsequent years some with the ruling Communists and Christian Democrats together. Some disillusioned members changed then to the anti-Communist Liberal Democrats.
