Social Design

As Social Design a form of architecture is called, in which man is at the center and is also involved in the creation process of the building. At the same time social design is a sense of environmental psychology / architectural psychology. Social Design should not be confused with social media design which the design of social media and social network assigns itself.

Master's program in Social Design_Arts as Urban Innovation

The University of Applied Arts Vienna in 2012 the Master's program in Social Design Arts as Urban implemented innovation, the challenges to the urban social systems arises and is dedicated to all the related issues. The Master's program is aimed at graduates of different fields of study and places the work in trans -disciplinary teams as a central teaching and learning form fixed. Building on the skills acquired in their previous studies, students are familiarized with the overcoming of disciplinary codes and working in cross- correlations. Art in cooperation with project-relevant methods and findings from the sciences be seen as an instrument of urban innovation.
