Reason: Template: deletion request text / February Krude collection possible of everything in the " * entropy * " occurs. A distinguishable from entropy importance in the social sciences is not mentioned. Instead, large redundancies with the Science articles in various sections - which have no place in an article on the social scientific concept nothing. (Sections " Physical entropy ", " Information-theoretic entropy ", " Statistical Physics ", " Entropiekapazität " / " Entropiekapazität and heat "). The lack of respect is also evident in the citations. Except for one with no "social entropy " is concerned (namely: Wöhlcke, Manfred (2003): .. , The end of civilization over social entropy and collective self- destruction ) for which there may well be an article. I speak to the other departments if they can take something from the article. - Zulu55 (talk) 08:59 ignorance 26 Feb. 2014 ( CET )

The term entropy is used not only in physics and information theory, but also in the social sciences. In economics, for example, inequality measures are used, which are sometimes referred to as Entropiemaße. These include in particular information theory-based measures of Anthony Barnes Atkinson, Serge Kolm and Henri Theil. Even more mixed with elements of business ethics are publications by Nicholas Georgescu - Roegen like "The Entropy Law and the Economic Process" (1971).

Starting from the frequent and popular equating entropy with "disorder" entropy is sometimes used in popular representations of socio-scientific issues as a synonym for disorder, such as by Manfred Wöhlcke. Amitai Etzioni defines social entropy as a state in which there is no social order and no social ties. For Daniel Lorenz to social entropy developed when social expectations are becoming less satisfied and the everyday based social connectivity is fading. Herbert Günzl sees in socialist societies a pathological addiction to equality and leveling and refers to this as social entropy.
