Society for Nautical Research

The Society for Nautical Research (SNR ) is a British company founded in 1910 for naval history. Seat is Greenwich ( London).

It has approximately 1600 members from over 30 countries ( 2013). It is also aligned thematically internationally.

In 1921 she organized a fundraiser for the preservation of HMS Victory. Even today, their conservation is one of their tasks. In 1926 she also oversaw their restoration in dry dock.
