Society of St. Peter the Apostle

The Pontifical Mission Society of St. Peter the Apostle is a management organization of the Pontifical Mission Societies for special purposes of the clergy. The office is located in Rome.

History

The Pontifical Apostle Peter factory was founded in 1889 in Caen (France) by Jeanne Bigard ( 1859-1934 ) and her mother Stephanie.

Tasks

  • Prayer and donations for the training of native clergy in mission dioceses
  • Expansion of seminaries
  • Support the training of candidates for the Vita consecrata
