Söderstadion

The Söderstadion is a pure football stadium in the district of Stockholm Johanneshov with 16,197 seats and is close to the entertainment venue Ericsson Globe with a maximum of 16,000 seats.

The stadium was built in 1966 and was, until 2013, the home stadium of the football team Hammarby IF. In 2004, the stadium was renovated and created new standing on the east stand, which today's spectator capacity has been reached. The largest attendance of 15,626 was reached in 2004 when football match against Hammarby IF Malmo FF.

Until 1989, the stadium was also used in winter for discharging Bandy games, including an artificial ice surface had to be created.

After moving the Hammarby IF in the Tele2 Arena, the stadium is primarily used as a training venue.
