Sofia Shinas

Sofia Shinas ( born January 17, 1973 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada ) is a Canadian singer, songwriter and actress.

Life

Shinas was born in 1973 in Windsor. In 1992, she released her debut album Sofia Shinas under the label of Warner Bros. Records. From the singles One Last Kiss, State Of Mind ( You Make Me Feel Good ) and The Message were released and landed near the top of the charts.

After some time of musical success, she left the world of pop songs and began her acting career. In 1993, she starred in the movie The Crow - the role of the killed Shelly Webster The Crow. On March 31, 1993, she turned her death scene with Brandon Lee, who also died that day. After the continuation of filming with doubles and CGI effects, the film was finally completed brought into the cinema. The movie scored at the box office a high profit and was thus well known.

Some time after the release of The Crow - The Crow, she starred alongside Charlie Sheen and Nastassja Kinski in the action thriller Terminal Velocity.

In 1995, she starred in the independent film hourglass. Besides movie appearances, she had several series appearances in series such as The Outer Limits - The unknown dimension or desire - The Hunger.
