Soft box

A light pan, also called soft box is a fluorescent light that is used for even illumination of subjects.

Construction

Field of application

Light tanks are used when in the photograph very uniform area light is needed, such as when shooting reflective curved surfaces, such as lenses.

Also in portrait photography light tanks are used for even illumination.
