Sogeti

Sogeti (French: Société pour la gestion de l' entreprise et traitement de l'information, company for corporate management and information processing ) is a French IT company focusing on software testing and quality management services.

History

Sogeti was founded in October 1967 by Serge Kampf in Grenoble (France). In 1973 Sogeti acquired a majority stake in the European company CAP. In 1974 the American company Gemini Computer Systems was acquired. In 1975, the three companies were merged together and formed the CAP Gemini Sogeti. In 1996 the name was simplified to Capgemini. 2002 was re- established on the market by the brand name Capgemini Sogeti. Sogeti has since become a sister of Capgemini.
