Soi Cowboy

The Soi Cowboy ( Soi in Thai means side street) is a small red light district of Bangkok and is located between Soi 21 ( Asoke ) and Soi 23 Sukhumvit Road parallel to ( Sukhumvit Road ).

The Soi Cowboy is about 200 meters long. Along the road are smaller and larger gogo bars strung together. Similarly as in Patpong dancing scantily clad go-go dancers on poles that are mounted on a raised stage.

The street was named after the former American airmen TG "Cowboy" Edwards, who opened the first go-go bar 1973-1977.
