Solid State Logic

Solid State Logic, also known by the acronym SSL, is a manufacturer of high-quality audio mixing consoles. The company's headquarters is located in Begbroke, England. The company was founded in 1969 and initially dealt with the transistorized control of church organs. The late 1970s was the SL4000 mixer which ( computerized recoverability of all settings ) and integrated compressors, but also its high quality sound to an industry standard and used until today in many high-end due to its then unique features like volume automation, "Total Recall" Studios provides its service. 2002, the Department of organ technique was sold and now operates under Solid State Organ Systems (SSO). 2005 SSL was acquired by Peter Gabriel and Dave Engelke. The company should be managed independently.
