Solomon Hart

Solomon Alexander Hart ( * April 1806 in Plymouth, † June 11, 1881 in beach, London) was an English painter.

After completing his schooling Hart graduated in his home town an apprenticeship with an engraver. Funded by his teacher Mr. Hart was later studying at the Royal Academy of Arts. There he learned several techniques to know and tried it. His early works range from the genre to history painting; of the coal sketch to engravings.

With twenty years of hard could debut in 1826 ( a miniature ) on the occasion of an exhibition at the Royal Academy with a portrait of his father. 1840 Hart became a member of the Royal Academy and in 1854 appointed Professor of Painting there to.

1841 Hart took a study trip to Italy, where he stayed some time in Florence.
