The Solomon Islands Dollar is the currency in Solomon Islands. It was introduced after the independence of Solomon Islands to replace the Australian Dollar. On the coins is Queen Elizabeth II, who is also the Queen of the Solomon Islands, impressed. The value of the Solomon Islands dollar took in the last 30 years, and especially during the civil war from 1999 to 2001 steadily.

The Solomon Islands dollar banknotes are available in 2, 5, 10, 20 and 50 dollars, and coins of 5, 10, 20, 50 cents and 1 dollar. The 1 - and 2- cent coins are no longer in circulation.
