Solomon Passy

Solomon Pasi Isak ( Bulgarian Соломон Исак Паси; born December 22, 1956 in Plovdiv ) is a Bulgarian, NDSW politician, former Bulgarian foreign minister, and Doctor of mathematics. He is also special advisor since July 8, 2007 the Macedonian government of Nikola Gruevski in the area of ​​NATO integration.

Life

Solomon Pasi was born in Plovdiv in the family of the renowned Bulgarian philosophy and ethics professor Isak Pasi. In 1979 he completed his studies in mathematics at the University of Sofia. In 1985 he finished his PhD in mathematical logic and computer science at the same university and got a doctorate awarded.

In 1991 he founded the non-governmental organization Atlantic Club, which had set the target faster accession of Bulgaria in the Euro -Atlantic structures. Between 1992 and 2001, Solomon Pasi was chairman of this organization.

In the period from 2001 to 2005, Pasi foreign minister in the Liberal government of Simeon Saxe-Coburg Gotha.

In August 2005, Solomon Pasi was elected Chairman of the Parliamentary Commission on Foreign Relations.

From his first marriage with Binka Peewa two sons and a daughter were born. In 2007, both were divorced. On February 14, 2009 Solomon Pasi married the chairman of the parliamentary commission for foreign policy in the Bulgarian Parliament and NDSW politician and former Minister Gergana Grantscharowa.
